Chief Minister’s Helicopter Lands Directly in Bandora Village Near Karigaon Instead of Limgaon

Villagers’ Faces Light Up Seeing the Chief Minister Amongst Them, Women Welcome Him with Turmeric Rice Tilak

Raipur, May 5, 2025/ Under Surajya Tihar 2025, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai today surprised the villagers by making a sudden visit to Karigaon in Sakti district. The Chief Minister’s helicopter landed directly in Bandora village instead of Limgaon, which left the administrative staff in a state of confusion for some time. The administration was already preparing to welcome the Chief Minister in Limgaon, but with the Chief Minister’s arrival in Karigaon, all arrangements had to be immediately shifted there.

In Karigaon, the Chief Minister held a Chaupal (village meeting) under a peepal tree and directly interacted with the villagers. The Chief Minister sat on a cot and listened to the problems of the villagers in a relaxed atmosphere. Villagers, especially women, welcomed the Chief Minister by presenting him with lotus flowers. The Chief Minister listened attentively to everyone’s concerns and also gave necessary directions to the concerned officials.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai said that good governance means going directly among the people to understand their real situation and provide quick solutions. An administrative system is considered successful only when the voice of the last person reaches the government directly.

Dileshwari, a resident of Karigaon in Sakti district, was surprised when she saw Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai standing in front of her. The Chief Minister asked Dileshwari about the Mahtari Vandan Yojana (Mother’s Vandan Scheme). Dileshwari said that this scheme works as a support to meet her financial needs.

Actually, during Surajya Tihar today, the Chief Minister’s helicopter suddenly landed in Bandora village of Sakti district. From here, the Chief Minister reached nearby Karigaon and held a Chaupal under a peepal tree. Upon finding the Chief Minister among them, the villagers welcomed him by offering lotus flowers from the nearby Paithu pond. During this time, the rural women performed aarti of the Chief Minister and welcomed him by applying turmeric rice tilak. After this, the Chief Minister sat on a cot under the peepal tree and interacted with the villagers.

Chief Minister Shri Sai inquired from the villagers about the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme), Mahtari Vandan Yojana, bonus on paddy, Ayushman Yojana and asked about their problems and resolved them immediately. During this time, Chief Minister Shri Sai took information about the progress of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and visited the house of villager Sonai Bai and inspected the house built under the scheme. The Chief Minister appealed to the villagers to grow other crops besides paddy during the summer days. This will reduce water consumption and reduce electricity bills, which will benefit the farmers more.
