Suicide Shocks Village During Durga Festival

Dhamtari district is reeling from a shocking event. Vinod Kumar, the priest at the Durga Pandal in Dhaura Bhata village, was found dead after taking his own life. He left the pandal on Friday afternoon, going to a nearby residence. When his absence became a concern, people searched for him and discovered him hanging with a gamcha. The community is in deep mourning, as the joyful celebrations of the Durga festival have been replaced by grief. The police are currently looking into the cause of the suicide and have transported the body to Dhamtari District Hospital for a post-mortem examination. The reason for the tragic event remains unknown, and the village is in a state of shock and disbelief.
