Bangalore, March 26, 2025 – Industry interest is increasing in investment in the field of green fuel in Chhattisgarh. In a meeting held in Bangalore, Deepak Agarwal of GPRS Arya Pvt. Ltd. met with Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and informed him that his company is rapidly working towards making Compressed Bio-Gas (CBG) from straw in the state. He said that there is a plan to set up CBG plants in various districts of Chhattisgarh, which will provide farmers with additional income from crop residues and also reduce pollution.

The company has recently established a CBG plant in Bemetara district in collaboration with Indian Oil, which is now fully operational. Deepak Agarwal told the Chief Minister that after the success of this project, they want to adopt the same model in other districts of Chhattisgarh. This initiative will promote biofuel production and strengthen the state’s participation in the field of environmentally friendly energy.

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai praised this initiative and said that the government is fully committed to promoting green energy. He informed that special incentives are being given for biofuels and environmentally friendly projects under Chhattisgarh’s new industrial policy. Other representatives of the industry also expressed their eagerness to invest in Chhattisgarh at this meeting.
