Two separate incidents of sorcery and arson in the early hours of Saturday have caused a hurry in the area. Two miscreants carried out the first arson incident in a house. Then in another house, he escaped by throwing things used in sorcery. In the case, S Naresh and Nandkumar Yadav have lodged a complaint with the Cantonment police station. The police has started investigation in the case.
The entire incident is from Camp 1 Sundar Nagar of Cantonment Police Station. Here in S. Naresh’s house, miscreants threw lemon, needle, bangle, vermilion and dead cock. After this incident, the miscreants set fire to the door of Nandkumar Yadav’s house located some distance away.
When the victim S Naresh woke up at 4 am on Saturday morning and opened the door of the house, there was suspicion of witchcraft after seeing the things thrown there. Fear, he closed the door of the house and refused his wife Ramluma to go out. As soon as the information was received on the phone, his son S Bala Raju reached home and complained to the cantonment police station. After the police reached the spot, the belongings of sorcery were removed. S Naresh’s wife says that his son helps people in the locality, so some people are suffering from it.
Arson at home
In the second incident, two miscreants set fire to Nand Kumar Yadav’s house by spraying petrol. When the fire spread, the housemates lost their sleep. There was a stir among the family members. Nandkumar Yadav’s wife hurriedly gathered people around and extinguished the fire. Beds, saris and plastic items were hit by fire in the house.
Both accused imprisoned in CCTV camera
After the complaint of the victims, the police has started investigating the case. CCTV footage is being investigated to reach the accused. In one footage, both the accused have been imprisoned, in which both their faces were covered with clothes, they are seen coming from a scooty. He cut the throat of a cock and threw it inside the boundary of S Naresh’s house. Also, red vermilion, black bangle, chopped lemon, in which needles are thrown and running in a cloth. At present, the police is identifying the accused based on the hulia of the accused seen in CCTV footage.
