After Naxal eradication, solid development initiative: Digital network will reach remote areas. Under Digital India Fund, 513 new 4G mobile towers were approved in Chhattisgarh, aiming to strengthen digital connectivity in remote areas. These 513 towers will bring education, health, and financial inclusion. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai welcomed the decision, stating it is a significant outcome of joint efforts for peace, security, and development in Naxal-affected and remote regions. He said the approval is a strong link to ongoing effective efforts to eliminate Naxals. With sustained actions by security forces and administrative coordination, newly stabilized areas will now see expanded development and digital connectivity. The deployment of these 4G towers will provide the people living in remote and inaccessible areas with reliable mobile and internet services for the first time, strengthening education, health, employment, administrative services, and emergency communication. He added that this expansion of digital connectivity will also be a milestone for financial inclusion. Strengthening the mobile network will ensure banking services, DBT, UPI, insurance, pension, and other digital services reach ordinary citizens effortlessly. Chief Minister Sai said the initiative realizes the core purpose of Digital India, which is to bring development to the last mile. It will offer local youth new opportunities via digital media and accelerate the regional economy. He said the central government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, prioritises security along with development for Naxal-affected states. The Chhattisgarh government is also committed, aligning with the central vision, to connect every citizen in the state to mainstream development. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai expressed heartfelt gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Singh for this decision, citing it as a historic step toward making Chhattisgarh digitally empowered, secure, and inclusive.
