Raigarh. Just before the election contest in the third and final phase of Lok Sabha elections in Chhattisgarh, Congress got a big blow when Kailash Nayak, son of former minister in Raigarh, late Shakrajit Nayak and younger brother of Prakash Nayak, who was an MLA during the previous Congress government. Left the hands of Congress and wore the saffron scarf of BJP. This development is considered very important from political point of view. The interesting aspect is that just a few hours before Kailash Nayak’s entry into BJP, former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel had reached the Nayak family’s house with sacks of stale food.
Experts who closely understand the politics of Raigarh say that Kailash Nayak was considered to be the rightful owner of Shakrajit Nayak’s political legacy, but being his elder son, Prakash Nayak put himself forward to take over the legacy. Sai government minister OP Choudhary played a major role in Kailash Nayak’s entry into BJP. Nayak is also a Zilla Panchayat member.
Along with Kailash Nayak, Hukumchand Agarwal, Mahavir Agarwal, Kailash Agarwal, Yogendra Agarwal and Tinku Agarwal have also entered BJP. BJP has said that Congress leaders decided to join BJP to protect Sanatan Dharma and to play their part in Prime Minister Modi’s resolve to build a developed India. Everyone has assured to strengthen Modi ji by putting 11-11 seats in the state in the Lok Sabha elections of Chhattisgarh. Finance Minister OP Choudhary welcomed everyone wearing saffron gamchha. He has also expressed hope that the joining of Panchayat representatives and other leaders in BJP will strengthen the vision of developed India. He has appealed to bloom lotus on all 11 seats of the state including Raigarh.
