The birthplace of Mata Shabri is established in the ancient religious place of Shivrinarayan, Chhattisgarh. Lord Neel Madhav Odisha comes from the Jagannath Temple on the day of Maghi Purnima, his original place Shivrinarayan, due to which the fair is being organized here for years. On this occasion, devotees visit God by taking a dip of faith, devotion and faith in the Triveni Sangam of Mahanadi, Jok and Shivnath River.
The chief priest of the temple, Harish Tiwari, said that his family has been worshiping from generation to generation. He told that Lord Jagannath left his original place and went to Odisa, then the temple was deserted, and the devotees of Neel Madhav became depressed. Harish Tiwari said that the temple complex is fully ready for the fair. Special darshan has also been arranged for the devotees who come in the temple. Mahant Ram Sundar Das Maharaj, the servant of Lord Shivrinarayan Temple Trust, said that Shivrinarayan Mela is a fair running from Maghi Purnima to Mahashivratri in undivided Madhya Pradesh. Devotees from all over the country come here to see Lord Jagannath on the day of Maghi Purnima. On this occasion, devotees from Odisha also reach, and also take special offerings of the fair.
