Bhilai is preparing for a grand Shiva Mahapurana Katha during the sacred month of Shravan. Pandit Pradeep Mishra Maharaj, a globally recognized storyteller, will be narrating the Shiva Katha at Jayanti Stadium in Bhilai. The Bhoomi Pujan (ground-breaking ceremony) has already been completed. The Shiva Mahapurana Katha, scheduled from July 30 to August 5 in Bhilai, will have the presence of CM Vishnu Deo Sai, Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, and both Deputy CMs.
Day Singh, the organizer, announced that SSP Vijay Agrawal, along with other police officials, inspected the preparations at the Katha site, including the pandal and parking arrangements. The Mayor of Bhilai, Neeraj Pal, also participated. The Mayor congratulated Day Singh on the commencement of the second year, stating he would be present to attend the Shiva Mahapurana Katha.
