Following the tragic loss of ASP Akash Rao Girepunje in Sukma, Union Home Minister Amit Shah met with the grieving family. Shah conveyed his sympathies to the ASP’s wife, children, parents, and other relatives. He promised the family the full backing of the government and committed to providing all possible assistance.
In a change of plans, Shah’s visit to Narayanpur has been postponed. He will now meet with the commanders of the forces in Raipur, as confirmed by Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister Vijay Sharma.
