Raipur, June 23, 2025: Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah had a courtesy meeting with the family of martyr Shri Akash Rao Giripunje in Nava Raipur, who was martyred in an IED blast in Sukma. He met the bereaved family, expressed deep sympathy and offered them solace.
Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah, while appreciating the bravery and sacrifice of martyr Additional Superintendent of Police Akash Rao Giripunje, said that his martyrdom is unforgettable for the country. He emphasized that the country will always be indebted to his sacrifice and his martyrdom will never be allowed to go in vain. Shri Shah, while describing the courage of the martyr as inspiring, termed his contribution as invaluable to the nation.
On this occasion, Shri Shah assured the family of the martyr that the government stands with them at every step. He said that the government is committed to providing all possible assistance to the families of the martyrs.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai and State Home Minister Shri Vijay Sharma were also present on this occasion.
