Virendra Gahwai, Bilaspur. The Registrar General of the High Court has issued a public notice, in which the common litigants have been asked to be cautious of those people who are luring them to win the cases going on in the courts or to get orders in their favor. It has also been said that strict action will be taken against those who give such inducements.

Registrar General K Vinod Kujur has clarified in the general notice issued that if any case/petition/application or any other proceeding has been instituted or is instituted in the Chhattiragarh High Court or any of the district courts of Chhattisgarh state. In any such case, be alert if any person gives false assurance or inducement to get the case/petition/application or other proceedings dismissed, won or dismissed in his/her favor for the purpose of obtaining or providing disproportionate consideration.

The notice also states that such a person will be held liable for criminal prosecution proceedings. Apart from this, the person who accepts such inducement or assurance can also be held liable for criminal prosecution. By taking such a step, the High Court has alerted all the common people of the state. Let us tell you that such people are also active in some lower courts, who similarly loot the common litigants by taking advantage of their innocence.
