Rajyotsav will be held in Nava Raipur from 4th to 6th November: Cultural programs will be spread every day, CM Sai’s appeal – Celebrate Rajyotsav with Deepotsav by lighting lamps in homes.

Raipur. Preparations for Rajyotsav are going on in full swing in Chhattisgarh. On this occasion, 10 thousand lamps will be lit in Nava Raipur, Atal Nagar. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai today reviewed the preparations for Rajyotsav 2024. The Chief Minister has appealed to the people of the state to celebrate Rajyotsav with Deepotsav by lighting lamps in their homes on 1st November.

Bus facility will be available for the general public to reach the Rajyotsav venue. Transport facility will be provided at concessional rates. During Rajyotsav, cultural programs will be organized every day in the evening at the venue. Bollywood singer Shaan, Neeti Mohan, Indian Idol winner Pawandeep and Arundita will be the center of attraction in the cultural evening. A program of Bollywood singer Shantanu Mukherjee (Shaan) has been organized in the cultural evening on 4th November. Bollywood singer Neeti Mohan’s program will be held on 5th November. On the evening of 6th November, the program of Indian Idol winners Pawandeep and Arundita will be the center of main attraction.

State investiture ceremony on 6th November

The State Decoration Ceremony will be organized on 6th November, the last day of Rajyotsav, in which individuals and institutions doing excellent work in various fields will be honored with State Decoration. Exhibitions focusing on major departmental schemes will be organized by various departments at the Rajyotsav venue. Hangars will also be built for private institutions and PSU institutions. An exhibition will also be organized by the Agriculture and Water Resources Department. New schemes of departments will be prominently displayed in the exhibition.

Shilpgram, food court, fan park will be the center of attraction

Shilpgram and food court will also be built at the Rajyotsav venue. Tribal food will also be available here. A fun park will also be built for children, where there will be various swings. Chief Minister’s Agriculture and Policy Advisor Dhirendra Tiwari, Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain, Chief Minister’s Secretaries P. Dayanand and Rahul Bhagat, Culture Department Secretary Anbalagan P, Director Vivek Acharya and senior officials were also present in the review meeting.
