Chief Electoral Officer Reena Babasaheb Kangale said that nominations will be filed from 18th to 25th October. After voting on 13th November, counting of votes will take place on 23rd November. 2 lakh 70 thousand voters of the area will elect their representative to the assembly as MLA.
Reena Babasaheb Kangale said that the total number of voters in the assembly constituency is 2,70,936, out of which 1,33,713 are male and 1,37,171 are female voters. Apart from these, 52 voters of third gender are registered. The number of service voters in the assembly constituency is 59. 5 companies will be deployed for security during voting.
He informed that 253 polling stations will be built in the area, out of which 10 will be Sangwari polling stations, 5 Adarsh polling stations and 5 youth polling stations. Live screening will take place in 227 polling stations.
