Raipur police have arrested a mother and son for orchestrating a scam where they traded fake gold bracelets for authentic gold from jewelers. The perpetrators, who operated in Raipur and Bilaspur, mirrored the tactics seen in the film ‘Bunty Aur Babli.’ The police seized gold jewelry, cash, and the vehicle used in the fraud, with an estimated value of about 8.5 lakh rupees.
