Raipur. After the death of 18 -year -old Aryans Adil declared brain dead due to head injury in a road accident, both his kidneys, liver and eyes cornea gave new life to five people. This 18 -year -old youth, a resident of Changorabhatha, was returning to his home after taking the JEE NEET exam on the evening of 29 January. Then he became a victim of road accident. He was admitted to Suyash Hospital in Kota. On February 1, after three days of treatment due to deep injury to the head, the doctors declared Aryans as brain death. The young man’s father Aseem Kumar and mother Mrs. Varsha Adil expressed a desire for organ donation to not let their son’s life go in vain.
After this major decision of parents, Brain Dead Aryans were immediately shifted to the Trauma Emergency Unit of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). Pro. Dr. Devendra Tripathi and his team promptly arranged to remove the organ with the doctors of the Department, Urology Department and Kidney Department.
Due to this, a kidney and liver Ramakrishna Care Hospital of the young man and both a kidney and eye cornea AIIMS department were given. State Organ Organization (Soto) President Dr. Vinit Jain and State Nodal Officer Dr. Kamlesh Jain said that the main role in this organ donation was the parents of the young man, due to which five people got new life.
Bhilai’s girl saved her life
Due to the organ donation of Aryans, the 26 -year -old girl from Bhilai got a kidney. Both the kidneys of this girl were damaged. His family tried to save the girl’s life by giving a kidney, but she too did not succeed. She came to AIIMS for treatment and was on dialysis for two years. A kidney of Aryans was given to the young woman. At the same time, a 21 -year -old youth got a second kidney at Ramakrishna Care Hospital. Dr. Jain informed that liver transplant is also being done in Care Hospital.
11th limb donation in the state in three years
After the implementation of the organ donation law in the state, it has been 11th in almost three years and the sixth transplant of Kadever kidney in AIIMS. Dr. Jain said that awareness campaign is needed to motivate people for this organ organ donation. This will provide relief to the needy patients. They will be able to contribute to the society as well as the society by starting a new life.
