A horrific crime has shaken the Biroda village near Raipur, where an elderly couple was brutally murdered. The victims, Bhukhan Dhruva, 62, and Rukhamani Dhruva, 60, were found dead inside their home, their throats slit. The incident has caused widespread fear and concern among the residents.
According to preliminary investigations, the assailants entered the house and killed the man while he was sleeping. They then chased and murdered the woman. The woman’s body was discovered lying in a pool of blood, whereas the man’s body was found on a cot inside the house.
Following the incident, the police, including the SP, ASP, CSP, station in-charge, along with forensic teams, dog squads, and fingerprint experts, arrived at the scene. The entire area has been cordoned off as the investigation proceeds. The police are questioning the local population, and personal enmity or a history of disputes are considered potential motives. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination, and a thorough investigation is underway to uncover the exact cause and circumstances of the double murder.
