The monsoon has intensified in Chhattisgarh, bringing heavy rainfall to the capital city of Raipur. The rain began late last night and continued intermittently through the morning. The weather has become pleasant due to the cloud cover, but some areas of Raipur are experiencing waterlogging.

The weather department has issued weather warnings for the entire state for the next five days, predicting light to moderate rainfall. Surajpur and Balrampur-Ramanujganj districts are under a yellow alert for heavy rain and thunderstorms. Other districts are under a lightning alert.

Rainfall data from Friday indicates that 69 locations in more than 24 districts received rainfall, with an average of 25.51 mm. Durg saw the highest temperature at 31.2 degrees Celsius, while Pendra recorded the lowest minimum temperature at 22.2 degrees Celsius. The administration has urged caution in light of the fluctuating monsoon conditions.
