The railway has announced special arrangements for women travelers on the occasion of the Teej festival. A fast MEMU train will be running between Raipur and Anuppur. This special service will be available on August 24 and August 28. Furthermore, a Teej Festival MEMU train will operate between Raipur and Tadoqi on August 25 and August 29. Train number 06803, the Raipur-Anuppur Teej Festival MEMU train, will commence its journey from Raipur at 4:50 AM. The aim is to ensure safe and comfortable travel for women during the festival, considering the increase in passenger volume across the state. These extra trains have been scheduled by the railway to manage the high passenger numbers and improve traveler convenience.
