Accusing the administration of discriminating, the villagers reached the construction site to protest. In view of the situation, a large number of police forces have been deployed on the spot. The case is of the village Goinda under the Arang development block, where the angry farmers reached the Bharatmala project to protest against the construction work being done in the Bharatmala project. Farmers who are accusing the administration of discrimination, say that in this big project, the farmers of Durg and Rajnandgaon have received 4 times compensation, whereas it is not so here.
Arang Tehsildar Sita Shukla, police station in -charge Rajesh Singh and officials of National Highway Authority of India, reached the spot. After this, the farmers left for Raipur to keep their talks before the high officials. In view of the protest of the farmers here, the fields are being leveling in the presence of the police force.
