    Raipur February 19, 2026/Chief Minister Mr. Vishnu Deo Sai today presented appointment letters to newly appointed mining inspectors selected by the Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission at his residence office. On this occasion, he said that Chhattisgarh is one of the richest states in the country in terms of mineral resources and the role of the field staff is extremely important in the effective operation of mining administration.

    Extending congratulations and best wishes to the newly selected mining inspectors, Chief Minister Mr. Sai said that the future of the country and the state depends on the youth. He said that new appointments in the mining department will strengthen the departmental workforce and give further impetus to mineral exploration and mining activities. He expressed confidence that the newly appointed mining inspectors will play an important role in the effective implementation of tasks related to mining administration by duly discharging their duties.

    Chief Minister Mr. Sai said that the land of Chhattisgarh is rich in various mineral resources including iron ore, coal, bauxite, limestone, tin, diamond, gold and lithium. Minerals are also a major source of state revenue and the government is continuously striving to increase mineral revenue. Chief Minister Mr. Sai inspired the newly appointed officers to actively contribute to the increase in mineral revenue.

    The Chief Minister said that as mining inspectors, you all have a big responsibility. Play your important role in the conservation and systematic use of the state’s resources by working with transparency, honesty, and integrity.

    It is noteworthy that the Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission had released the selection list of 33 mining inspectors on October 15, 2025. The Department of Mineral Resources had issued appointment orders for a total of 32 mining inspectors on February 19, 2026, out of which appointment letters were presented to 30 newly selected mining inspectors by the Chief Minister today.

    On this occasion, Chairman of Chhattisgarh Mineral Development Corporation Mr. Saurabh Singh, Secretary of Department of Mineral Resources Mr. P. Dayanand, Director of Geology and Mining Mr. Rajat Bansal, and senior officials of the department were present.
