Raipur, March 25, 2025 / Phameshwari Yadav, a 21-year-old from Gariaband district, has achieved the honor of becoming Chhattisgarh’s first woman Agniveer by being selected as an Agniveer Woman Military Police (WMP) in the Indian Army. This is a symbol of pride for the state and the self-confidence of daughters.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai congratulated Phameshwari on this achievement, saying that it is not just a selection, but a testament to the courage and patriotism of the daughters of Chhattisgarh. Phameshwari has shown that if one has strong determination, any dream can be fulfilled.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that this success will inspire other young women in the state and encourage them to move forward in the army and other fields. The state government is with the daughters in every step of their empowerment and service to the nation.
Chief Minister Shri Sai wished her a bright future and said that this success will become a source of inspiration for the new generation of Chhattisgarh, and the daughters of the state will set new records in every field.
It is noteworthy that after being selected in the results declared on March 24, 2025, Phameshwari will begin her training at the Army Military Police Training Center in Bangalore from May 1, 2025. She was also honored by the Army Recruitment Office, Raipur.
