The district administration in Pendra has responded decisively to instances of negligence in the execution of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Secretary Rajkumar Sharma of Tendumuda Gram Panchayat has been suspended for negligence and lack of commitment. Simultaneously, a show cause notice has been issued to Jyoti Kashyap, the employment assistant from the same panchayat. Instructions have also been issued to transfer the secretary of Thadpathra Gram Panchayat with immediate effect. This action was taken under the guidance of Zilla Panchayat CEO Surendra Prasad Vaidh, who has underscored that any form of negligence in government schemes is unacceptable. All panchayat staff have been alerted, and they’ve been warned that strict action will be pursued against anyone obstructing the PM Awas Yojana. The administration’s firm approach has caused a reaction within the panchayats, with directives given to other panchayats to ensure the timely and transparent implementation of the schemes.
