The district administration in Pendra has responded decisively to instances of negligence in the implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana within the Pendra development block. Secretary Rajkumar Sharma from Tendumuda Gram Panchayat has been suspended due to negligence and lack of attention to duty. Jyoti Kashyap, the employment assistant for the same panchayat, has been served with a show cause notice.
In addition, orders have been issued for the immediate transfer of the secretary of Thadpathra Gram Panchayat. The District Panchayat CEO, Surendra Prasad Vaid, directed this action and made it clear that any shortcomings in government schemes will not be accepted. He warned all panchayat employees that strict action will be taken against those impeding the important PM Awas Yojana. The administration’s stern measures have led to increased activity within the panchayats, with instructions given for all remaining panchayats to ensure timely and transparent scheme implementation.
