The district administration in Pendra has responded decisively to shortcomings in the execution of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana within the Pendra development block. Secretary Rajkumar Sharma of Tendumuda Gram Panchayat has been suspended due to negligence and lack of attention to duty. A show cause notice has also been served to Jyoti Kashyap, the employment assistant from the same panchayat.
In addition, the secretary of Thadpathra Gram Panchayat has been instructed to be transferred to a new position immediately. This action was directed by District Panchayat CEO Surendra Prasad Vaid, who emphasized that negligence concerning government programs would not be tolerated. He warned all panchayat staff that strict penalties would be enforced against those who impede important initiatives like the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. This action by the administration has caused a ripple effect throughout the panchayats, with the remaining ones being directed to implement schemes promptly and transparently.
