The Pendra administration has initiated strict measures in response to the lack of diligence in the execution of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) within the Pendra development block. Secretary Rajkumar Sharma of Tendumuda Gram Panchayat has been suspended for negligence and dereliction of duty. In addition, Jyoti Kashyap, the employment assistant from the same panchayat, has been served with a show cause notice.
Further, the secretary of Thadpathra Gram Panchayat has been ordered to be transferred immediately. The District Panchayat CEO, Surendra Prasad Vaidh, directed this action, emphasizing that negligence in government schemes will not be tolerated. He warned all panchayat employees that strict action will be taken against those impeding the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. The administrative action has caused concern in the panchayats, and the remaining panchayats have been instructed to implement the schemes in a timely and transparent manner.
