PCC Chief Deepak Baij wrote a letter to CM Sai, raised questions on tribal issues along with no government program on World Tribal Day

Raipur. On the occasion of World Tribal Day, Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) President Deepak Baij has written a letter to Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, in which he has raised various issues related to the tribals. In the letter, Baij has accused the government of ignoring the tribals.

PCC Chief Deepak Baij said in his letter that no government program was organized today on World Tribal Day. He alleged that the tribal community has been harassed under the BJP government and they are being crushed in the conflict between the police and the Naxalites. Deepak Baij has expressed serious concern over this, mentioning the death of tribals in fake encounters in Bastar. Apart from this, he pointed to the murder of a tribal youth in Raipur and the health problems of the tribals. Along with this, he has also raised the issue of the pending bill of 32 percent reservation for tribals.
