    A devastating event unfolded in Pakhunjur, Chhattisgarh, where five individuals from a single family ingested poison in an apparent suicide attempt. The incident occurred in PV 70 Shantinagar village, which falls under the Partapur police station in the Chandanpur Gram Panchayat area. Three children tragically lost their lives before they could receive medical assistance. Their parents are currently receiving critical care at the Civil Hospital Pakhunjur. The deceased children have been identified as Varsha Bairagi, aged 11, Dipti Bairagi, aged 7, and Devraj Bairagi, aged 5. The cause of the family’s decision to take this drastic step is yet to be determined, and police have launched an investigation. The village and the surrounding areas are in a state of profound grief. Local administration and police officials are present at the scene. Villagers have indicated that the family may have been experiencing financial difficulties and interpersonal conflicts, though this information is yet to be officially verified. The loss of the three children has deeply affected the entire region.
