Raipur, November 13, 2025/ During the Jan Darshan program organized at the Chief Minister’s residence, painter Shri Shivkumar Nirala, a resident of village Chakarda in Sarangarh-Bilaigarh district, presented a unique ‘political map’ to Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai. His unique artistic presentation enhanced the special attraction of the program.
This illustrated map prepared by Shri Nirala is a detailed and artistic document of Chhattisgarh’s complete political journey. It systematically displays the state’s Lok Sabha and Assembly members, the outline of the cabinet, details of parliamentary constituencies, and a comparative analysis of all Lok Sabha and Assembly elections held from 1998 to the present. The margin of victory in each assembly constituency, the order of representatives by political party, and historical changes in seats have also been included in an artistic style.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai appreciated this creative map and said that “Shri Shivkumar Nirala has presented data and facts in such a simple, beautiful, and analytical style that this artwork becomes a useful document for students of politics, researchers, and common citizens—all.” Honoring his talent, the Chief Minister also awarded him.
