On World Tribal Day, Red Terror suffered a setback, 3 Naxalites including 2 rewardees left the path of violence

Suresh Paratagiri, Bijapur. Red terror has suffered a major setback on World Tribal Day. Three Naxalites including two Maoists of People’s Liberation Guerrilla Army surrendered before the police here. The surrendered Naxalites include PLGA company members with a bounty of Rs. 8 lakh each and CRC party members of South Bastar Division.

On the occasion of World Tribal Day, they surrendered due to their frustration with the anti-development discriminatory policy of the Maoists, neglect and the lifestyle and ideology of the Naxalites.

In Bijapur, 145 Maoists have surrendered before the police in the last 6 months. Whereas 326 Maoists have been arrested. In this, the Superintendent of Police Bijapur has encouraged two people by giving them twenty-five thousand rupees each.
