The Pendra district administration has taken a firm stance against those responsible for the slow implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Secretary Rajkumar Sharma of Tendumuda Gram Panchayat has been suspended due to negligence and a lack of responsibility. A show cause notice has also been issued to Jyoti Kashyap, the employment assistant of the same panchayat. In addition, the secretary of Thadpathra Gram Panchayat has been ordered to be transferred immediately. The District Panchayat CEO, Surendra Prasad Vaid, issued these directives, emphasizing that negligence in government projects will not be accepted. He has warned all panchayat employees that severe consequences will follow for anyone hindering the progress of the PM Awas Yojana. This recent action has led to increased scrutiny within the panchayats, with instructions for timely and transparent execution of all schemes.
