Raipur. In Chhattisgarh, now PUC stations are going to be built at petrol pumps. After which people will be able to get fuel, air and pollution tested at petrol pumps. Its purpose is to stop the smoke that removes from vehicles. Transport Secretary and Transport Commissioner S.K. Prakash and Additional Transport Commissioner D. Ravi Shankar held a meeting with representatives of oil companies today. In which oil companies agreed to set up a pollution check center (PUC center) in their petrol pumps.

Actually, CM Vishnudev Sai held a review meeting of the Transport Department on February 4. In this meeting, CM Sai had intended to take standard measures for pollution check for prevention of pollution caused by smoke of vehicles. It is noteworthy that keeping in view the adverse effects on the health of the common people from air pollution, Honorable NGT (National Green Tribunal) has also been given instructions from time to time by New Delhi and the Central Government.
In the meeting, Upendra Giri, Chief Manager of Indian Oil Corporation, B.C. Devkumar, Reliance Industries Limited. The manager of the manager of Shreyas Gupta, the Chief Manager of Hindustan Petroleum, Gautam Kumar and the officials of the Transport Department and other representatives of petroleum companies were present.
