New Order Expected for School Timings on Saturdays

The Education Minister assured teacher organization representatives that the school timings on Saturdays would be maintained as before. He instructed the officials. Following this, the Directorate of Public Instruction has sent a proposal to the Education Secretary to set the time to 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM for single-shift schools, 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM for high school and higher secondary schools, and 12 PM to 4 PM for primary and middle schools in two-shift schools. According to the information received, a new order regarding school operations on Saturdays will likely be issued by the state government based on the proposal of the Directorate of Public Instruction on Monday.
