There was an encounter between soldiers and Naxalites in the Sornamal forest of Indagaon police station area. There was firing from both sides, in which the soldiers killed three Naxalites.
According to the information, after Bastar, Naxalites had come to Gariaband area to take shelter. On receiving this information, under the guidance of Gariaband SP Nikhil Rakhecha, about 300 personnel of STF, DRG and District Police Force set out on a search. During the operation, there was an encounter between soldiers and Naxalites in the forest of Sornamal. In this the soldiers have killed 3 Naxalites. SP Nikhil Rakhecha has confirmed this
