In a disturbing incident, a man was murdered in the Durg district of Chhattisgarh. The victim, Balwinder (Bunti), was killed by the sons of a woman in Ahivara Ward 3. The police have taken the body for a post-mortem.
The sons stated that Balwinder was their mother’s live-in partner. The mother had previously separated from her husband. The relationship with Balwinder began after the separation, leading to a live-in arrangement. This relationship was not accepted by the sons, leading to frequent arguments.
The incident occurred late Tuesday night. Balwinder’s frequent visits to the woman’s house were a point of contention. The sons also had suspicions regarding Balwinder’s involvement with another woman, which increased the family conflict.
The situation escalated on Tuesday night. Trilochan and Bhupesh, the woman’s sons, attacked Balwinder. Trilochan used a shovel, and Bhupesh used a stick, causing fatal injuries. The Nandini police arrived at the scene and took the body for examination at the district hospital.
Following the initial investigation, the police detained the sons. They confessed to the crime during questioning. Authorities suggest the incident is a result of domestic disputes, the mother’s live-in relationship, and suspicions about Balwinder’s character. A murder case has been filed, and the investigation is ongoing.
