Maruti Suzuki: The country’s largest car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki India has announced that it is going to increase the prices of its passenger vehicles (PVS) since 8 April 2025. This increase is being done due to input cost, operational expenses, regulatory changes and adding new features.

Which models will increase prices (Maruti Suzuki)?

    Model price increase

Grand Vitara up to ₹ 62,000

    EECO ₹ 22,500

    Wagonr ₹ 14,000

    Ertiga ₹ 12,500

    XL6 ₹ 12,500

    Dzire tour s ₹ 3,000

    Faronx ₹ 2,500

Maruti said that it is committed to reducing expenses and minimizing the impact on customers, but some part of the rising cost has become necessary to reach the customers.

What cars are sold at Nexa and Arena outlets?

Maruti sells its vehicles from two different channels:

Nexa Outlets: Ignis, Baleno, Ciaz, Fronx, Grand Vitara, Jimny, XL6, Invicto

Arena outlets: Alto K10, S-Presso, Celerio, Eeco, WagonR, Swift, Dzire, Brezza, Ertiga

Significantly, in January 2025, Maruti had already increased the prices of its cars by 4%. Usually, vehicle manufacturers amend prices twice every year.

Other car manufacturers are also increasing prices

Apart from Maruti, Hyundai, Tata Motors, Mahindra & Mahindra and Kia India have also announced to increase the prices of their cars from April 2025.

Are you thinking of buying a new car?
