Prime Minister Modi advocated for ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat,’ aiming for India to become a developed nation by 2047. He urged entrepreneurs, traders, and innovators to create business models that strengthen India’s self-reliance, emphasizing that every product that can be made in India should be. He also discussed the nation’s progress in defense, envisioning a defense ecosystem where every component bears the ‘Made in India’ mark. He mentioned the upcoming production of the AK-203 rifle, developed with Russian collaboration, and the defense corridor in UP, which is manufacturing weapons like the BrahMos missile. He also pointed out the benefits of GST reforms.
