Maa Durga worshiped with grand Aarti in Kalibari of the capital, glimpse of Bengali traditions seen

Raipur. A grand aarti of Mata was performed at the Bengali temple puja pandal located in Kalibari of the capital. After opening the mouth of Mother Goddess, worship was done with Bengali Aarti. After this, about 100 Mother Goddesses donated incense and worshiped Maa Durga along with Dhaki, in which hundreds of devotees participated.

During the puja and invocation of Maa Durga, women made owl sounds and hailed Maa Durga. It is believed that just as the sound of the conch is considered sacred, in the same way, whenever any auspicious work is done in the Bengali society, the women of the society cheer by making owl sounds.

Along with Maa Durga, Lord Ganesha, Goddess Lakshmi, Swami Kartikeya and Goddess Saraswati were also duly worshipped. The pandal has been decorated with colorful LED lights. A cultural program will be organized after the evening aarti.

Let us tell you that Maa Durga has been residing in the Bengali Mata Durga temple located in Kali Bari of the capital Raipur for the last many years. Women in Bengali costumes offer prayers here, in which a large number of devotees come to see the idol of Goddess Durga.
