Purchasing paddy at Rs 3100 per quintal and purchasing paddy at 21 quintal per acre has brought prosperity to the farmers. Through Mahtari Vandan Yojana, we are giving an installment of one thousand rupees per month to 70 lakh mothers and sisters every month. We are going to start the Chief Minister Teerth Darshan Yatra Scheme for visiting major pilgrimage sites of the country. Through this scheme also, travelers will get the opportunity of free pilgrimage. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said this while addressing the Parvatdaan (food grain) and Ashwamedha Yagya Mahotsav organized in village Timarlaga of Sarangarh Bilaigarh district today.
Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, while addressing the Parvatdaan and Ashwamedh Yagya Mahotsav in village Timarlaga, said that whenever big religious events take place, the entire surrounding area gets drenched in the colors of devotion. Chhattisgarh is the maternal birthplace of Lord Shri Ram. This is the land where Lord Shri Ram spent most of his exile. In the holy land of Chhattisgarh, in Shivrinarayan, Mother Shabari had fed false berries to Lord Shri Ram. Our land of Chhattisgarh is a very sacred land. We have Valmiki ji’s ashram in Turturiya. Valmiki Ashram is the land where Luv and Kush caught the horse of Ashwamedha Yagya. The memories of Lord Shri Ram are present in every corner of Chhattisgarh. We are continuously working to save the memories of Lord Shri Ram.
Chief Minister Sai said that we are also working to connect the five Shaktipeeths of the state. We also started organizing the Kumbh Mela again in Rajim, the city of Triveni Sangam. Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai announced the upgradation of the secondary school of village Timarlaga to high school, development of Ma Nathal Dai as a tourist center and beautification, and upgradation of the sub-health center of village Timarlaga to primary health center. On this occasion, Raigarh MP Radheshyam Rathiya, Kera Bai Manhar, Shamsher Singh, Pushpa Devi Singh and other distinguished citizens were present.
