LOKSABHA ELECTION 2024: Vikas Upadhyay sits on strike, accuses Raipur Collector of promoting BJP

Nitin Namdev, Raipur. Voting for the last phase of Lok Sabha elections is going on in Chhattisgarh. Meanwhile, in Raipur, Congress Lok Sabha candidate Vikas Upadhyay has sat on a dharna in front of Purani Basti Saraswati School. He has accused Raipur Collector of campaigning for BJP candidates at voting booths.

Accusing the Raipur Collector of violating the code of conduct, he said that in the polling centre, Aangan Bari workers and health workers are spreading BJP’s propaganda and getting the voters to vote for BJP on the pretext of distributing lemon sherbet.

Vikas Upadhyay is sitting on a dharna demanding immediate removal of lemonade stands and other pandals set up by social service organizations from the voting booths.
