Leader Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has paid tribute to social reformer, philosopher, author and thinker Mahatma Jyotiba Phule at the instance of Samta Divas, which is the loss of life anniversary of 28 November. Mr. Baghel has mentioned that Mahatma Phule sought after to loose the society from superstitions and unhealthy practices. He used to be strongly adverse to the caste gadget prevailing within the Indian society and the discrimination in keeping with it. He did many stuff for the upliftment of girls and Dalits. Mahatma Phule established the Satyashodhak Samaj to finish discrimination in opposition to Dalits and provides them a spot within the society.
