The state government has suspended the then SDM and currently Jagdalpur Municipal Corporation Commissioner Nirbhay Sahu (Rapras) for the proposed Raipur-Visakhapatnam Economic Corridor on disturbances in the land acquisition process. The then subdivisional officer and competent authority, land acquisition, Abhanpur Nirbhay Sahu is accused that by paying more compensation amount than actual compensation in the form of land acquisition in the land acquisition process, by paying more compensation amounts to private landlords, the government has suffered financial damage to the government by illegally benefiting.
Apart from this, in the proceedings taken in the process of land acquisition, Nirbhay Kumar Sahu (Raprasa) has not properly supervised the works of his subordinate government servants and not remained conscious of his duty, irregularity and negligence has been done.
Considering this act to be a clear violation of Rule 3 (1) (one) (two) and 3 (2) (one) of Chhattisgarh Civil Services (Conduct) Rules, 1965, the General Administration Department has suspended the then subdivisional officer (ra) and competent authority, Land Acquisition, Abhanpur and current Commissioner Jagdalpur Municipal Corporation with immediate effect.
During the suspension period, the headquarters of Nirbhay Kumar Sahu, Jagdalpur Commissioner’s Office has been determined. Apart from this, they will be payable to live in the period of basic rules, 53 during the period of suspension.
Know about Raipur-Visakhapatnam Expressway
Please tell that Raipur-Visakhapatnam Expressway is part of the Bharatmala project. It is a 6-lane expressway, which will pass through Chhattisgarh, Odisha, and Andhra Pradesh. This expressway is 464 km long.
With the construction of this expressway, the distance between Raipur and Visakhapatnam will be reduced. This will benefit the common citizens as well as businessmen. Apart from this, iron and other items can be exported to countries like Japan, China, Australia.
The central government has given Rs 20,000 crore for this expressway. This cost includes both construction and land acquisition, the rest of the costs will be borne by Chhattisgarh and Andhra Pradesh.
