    Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, speaking at a लोकार्पण and foundation laying event in Pipariya village of the Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai district, stated that although the previous government created the district, it did not adequately focus on developing its infrastructure. He emphasized that his government aims to address this deficiency by providing Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai with robust infrastructure and modern amenities to foster holistic development.

    During the event, Chief Minister Sai announced 71 development projects worth ₹611.21 crore for Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai. This includes the foundation laying for 18 projects costing ₹470.98 crore and the inauguration of 53 projects worth ₹140.23 crore.

    Chief Minister Sai affirmed that these projects represent a significant step towards realizing a developed Khairagarh. He pledged to fulfill the dreams of the district’s residents, including the elderly, youth, and women. In response to public demand, he announced the development of Pailimeta as a tourism destination, the construction of a high-level water tank in Chhuikhadan (costing ₹50 lakh), the establishment of a ‘Paan Cafe’ to promote betel leaf farming, the construction of a 500-seater auditorium in Khairagarh, and the establishment of a college in Mudhipar. He assured that these projects will be incorporated into the upcoming fiscal year’s budget.

    Chief Minister Sai highlighted his personal connection with Khairagarh, Rajnandgaon, Kawardha, and Manpur-Mohla. He stated that he is committed to advancing Chhattisgarh’s development with dedication and integrity. He noted that the government has swiftly implemented welfare schemes for all sections of society in the last 18 months and is working to fulfill the guarantees made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

    The Chief Minister highlighted the government’s initiatives to support farmers by procuring 21 quintals of paddy per acre at ₹3,100 per quintal, providing them with direct financial benefits. He also mentioned the Prime Minister Awas Yojana, which has approved 18 lakh houses and is creating employment opportunities for skilled construction workers.

    The ‘Mahtari Vandan Yojana’ was described as a transformative initiative for women’s financial empowerment, with plans for a renewed application process soon. Currently, 70 lakh women in the state receive monthly financial assistance through this program, and many have started their own businesses.

    Additional announcements included increased purchase rates for tendu leaf collectors, financial assistance of ₹10,000 each for 5.62 lakh agricultural landless laborers, and the Shriram Lala Darshan Yojana, which has facilitated Ayodhya Darshan for 22,000 devotees.

    Chief Minister Sai expressed confidence that Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai will become a leading district in the state, with robust infrastructure and comprehensive development, with the support of the people.

    Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh commended the Chhattisgarh government under Chief Minister Sai for being the first in the country to purchase paddy from farmers at a support price of ₹3,100 per quintal for 21 quintals per acre. He emphasized the government’s commitment to 100% implementation of schemes to ensure that benefits reach every individual.

    The event was attended by Industry Minister Lakhan Lal Dewangan, MP Santosh Pandey, Khairagarh MLA Yashoda Verma, other elected representatives, officials, and dignitaries.
