It is being told that on receiving information from various places, the team raided Sargaon area. During this period, Hiwa-CG 11-BE-3111 (Driver-Vishnu Sahu), Tractor-CG 11-AR-8703 (Driver-Chhunu Dhruv), CG 28-H-9967 (Driver-Sundar Red Dhruv), CG 28-L-7426 (Driver-Ashwani Skill Sahu), CG 28-E-3654 (Driver-Ramesh Sahu), CG 31-A-2866 (Driver-Bahoric Nishad), CG 10-BR-3337 (Driver-Gopal Nishad), CG 28-R-1706 (Driver-Mukesh Nishad) and CG 28-P-2690 (Driver-Hemant Sahu) were found to be transporting the children illegally. The joint team stopped and seized vehicles on the spot. All vehicles have been kept in police custody at Sargaon police station. With this, legal action is being taken under the Minerals Act.
Collector Rahul Dev has said that the administrative team is constantly active to curb illegal mineral excavation and transport in the district. Strict action will be taken against the people involved in such activities.
