The Helping Hands Club Foundation organized ‘Rakhi with Protector, a Bond of Love’ in Raipur, bringing together women and members of the BSF, ITBP, Chhattisgarh Police, Central Force, and Odisha. Sisters tied rakhis, expressing their love and gratitude to the jawans. The women expressed their appreciation for the jawans, stating that their sacrifices allowed for the safety and peace of others. Dr. Lal Umed, the organizer, emphasized that the jawans’ dedication meant they were away from their families, allowing the community to celebrate festivals securely. He highlighted cybercrime and drug abuse, urging vigilance and caution. IPS Rajesh Kukreja praised Helping Hands for honoring the police family. Manoj Goyal, a patron, said their mission was to celebrate Raksha Bandhan with the jawans who ensure our safety. Babita Agarwal, the women’s wing president, spoke of the joy experienced when the jawans were honored with rakhis. The event also addressed critical issues such as cybercrime and substance abuse, with a strong emphasis on the need for vigilance and awareness. The event was not just a celebration; it also underscored the significance of safety and awareness within the community.
