Jashpur’s special logo will become the new identity of the district, will be used in government schemes and letters

Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai had launched the special ‘logo’ of Jashpur district in the Atal Good Governance Ceremony organized at Saliyatoli, Kunkuri on the occasion of Good Governance Day, the birthday of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. This logo will be used in government schemes run in Jashpur district and letters for government work. The natural beauty and cultural diversity of Jashpur has been beautifully displayed in the logo.

Green color in the logo represents the greenery of Jashpur.

The logo is designed in a circular shape, symbolizing unity and harmony. The use of green color in this reflects the lush greenery of Jashpur, which reflects the rich natural environment of the area. The water flowing from the mountains shown in the logo refers to the famous waterfalls of Jashpur. It depicts an elephant and its cub, which shows the favorable conditions for elephants that have been roaming in Jashpur for centuries. Apart from this, it also includes symbols of tea gardens, which represent the famous tea gardens of Jashpur, Sarudih etc.

Madheshwar mountain also included in the logo

The word “Jashpur” is written in saffron colour, reflecting the rich tribal heritage and cultural significance of the region. Madheshwar hills are also prominently included in this logo, which is one of the major tourist destinations of Jashpur. Which has been recognized as the world’s largest natural Shivalinga. The “S” in “Jashpur” is designed in the shape of a snake, representing the Tapkara region of Jashpur, also known as Naglok. Above the “P” are tea leaves, which are associated with the tea gardens of the region. The logo also features artistic elements inspired by Karma dance and the famous art forms of Jashpur, reflecting the cultural diversity and heritage of the region.
