From January 15, 2013, to June 10, 2019, a total of 2,46,983 devotees benefited through 272 pilgrimages under this scheme.

The scheme was not operational for 5 years during the previous government’s tenure.

This scheme, which was run during the government of Dr. Raman Singh and subsequently discontinued by the government that followed, has now been restarted by the current government in Chhattisgarh to fulfill the faith, devotion, and long-cherished pilgrimage dreams of the elderly.

On this occasion, MLAs Mr. Purandar Mishra, Mr. Motilal Sahu, Mr. Anuj Sharma, Social Welfare Commissioner Mr. Bhuvnesh Yadav, Director Mrs. Roktima Yadav, Raipur Collector Dr. Gaurav Singh, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Mr. Vishwadeep, Raipur DRM Mr. Dayanand, officials and employees of the Social Welfare and Railway departments, and a large number of citizens were present.
