Raipur, 10 October 2024/ Industries Minister Shri Lakhanlal Dewangan today unveiled the statue of Chhattisgarh Mahtari in the Collectorate premises of Khairagarh and the statue of former MP Late Shri Devvrat Singh in Civil Lines. On this occasion, he performed Bhoomi Pujan of 4 community buildings to be built at a cost of Rs 39.50 lakh in different wards of Khairagarh city.
While addressing the program, Industries Minister Shri Dewangan said that the unveiling of the statue of Chhattisgarh Mahtari will always inspire people to work with dedication for their mother earth. He said that it was the desire of the public that former MP Late. The statue of Shri Devvrat Singh should be unveiled before the Dussehra festival and we have unveiled his statue keeping in mind the aspirations of the people.
Lok Sabha MP Shri Santosh Pandey, who was presiding over the program, said that we have given Mahatari status to Chhattisgarh. Today a very huge and grand statue has been unveiled in the Khairagarh District Office premises. He said that late Devvrat Singh was a popular MP and MLA of this area. People wished that his statue should be unveiled as soon as possible and the Minister in charge Shri Dewangan, rising above party politics, should do it. The statue of Shri Devvrat Singh has been unveiled.
On this occasion, Khairagarh MLA Smt. A large number of people including Girja Chandrakar were present.
