Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has lauded the Made in India chip as a landmark achievement, attributing its success to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. According to Sai, PM Modi’s visionary leadership and commitment to an Atmanirbhar Bharat have propelled India to new heights in the technological arena. The unveiling of the Vikram microprocessor at the Semicon India 2025 conference signifies a pivotal moment in India’s technological journey. This indigenous 32-bit microprocessor is a clear indication of India’s commitment to technological self-reliance and its ability to innovate. The Vikram processor, built with entirely indigenous technology, is specifically engineered for ISRO’s space launch vehicles. This technological advancement is poised to not only bolster India’s space program but also to showcase its technical capabilities on the world stage. CM Sai recognized the dedication of India’s young engineering talent and scientific community in making this achievement possible. He highlighted that the development of an indigenous microprocessor reflects India’s transformation from a consumer to a manufacturer and global technological leader. He further stated that this milestone will accelerate the success of Digital India, Make in India, and Atmanirbhar Bharat initiatives. The indigenous microprocessor is set to benefit space research, defense, communications, and other high-tech sectors. CM Vishnu Deo Sai extended his congratulations to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Electronics and IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnav for their roles in this historic advancement, recognizing it as a significant step towards a brighter future for India and an inspiration for future generations.
