Husband Dies After Being Assaulted by Brother-in-Law During Family Dispute

In a tragic incident in Jashpur, a man named RamSায় Ram was murdered by his brother-in-law. The incident occurred when RamSায় Ram went to his in-laws’ residence to bring his wife home. Following an argument, Satyam Ram assaulted him, inflicting a severe injury. RamSায় Ram, who lived in Lokhandi, had a dispute with his wife, prompting her to leave and stay at her parents’ place in Bandipa. RamSায় Ram went to retrieve her on August 21st, but a heated argument with Satyam Ram escalated into violence. RamSায় Ram was kicked in the stomach and died the following day due to internal injuries. Police investigation confirmed that the death was caused by a ruptured intestine. Satyam Ram has been apprehended, confessed to the crime, and is currently under judicial remand.
