Bastar Pandum 2025 towards the final stage
Bastar Pandum 2025 was organized in the color of tribal culture. In this festival, competitions related to tribal dances, songs, plays, instruments, traditional costumes and jewelery, craftsmanship, tribal cuisine and traditional drinks were organized. This festival will be held in three stages. Till now, competitions have been held at two levels. The first district level competition was held from 12 to 20 March and district level competition from 21 to 23 March. Now the division level competition will be held from 1 to 3 April in Dantewada, which will include Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
Grand demonstration of Bastar’s folk art and traditions
The festival saw a great performance of Bastar’s traditional dance-style, songs, customs, costumes, jewelery and traditional cuisine. The performance of the contestants was given marks on the basis of originality, traditionalism and presentation. A special committee has been formed to select the winners of the competition, which includes administrative officials as well as senior heads, priests and experienced artists of tribal society.
